Before you choose

A few practical answers.

Need help finding a starting point for your managers?

Talk it through with Yzly
What exactly am I buying?

Downloadable workshop materials for your organisation to use internally. Each course includes a PDF portfolio of workshop guides, step-by-step instructions, discussion prompts, practice activities and participant worksheets. You or a colleague leads the sessions with a group of managers.

Which bundle should we choose?

The Manager Fundamentals bundle covers all four levels of one topic: 32 workshops from Emerging to Mastering. Kick-Start brings together the Level 1 courses in Manager Fundamentals, Feedback, Difficult Conversations and Emotional Intelligence at Work: 30 workshops across four topics. Both contain Manager Fundamentals Level 1.

Do we need to start at Level 1?

Start with the level that fits current experience and the situations your managers need to handle. Emerging establishes the everyday habits; Building strengthens consistency; Advancing addresses more complex situations; Mastering helps leaders sustain, improve and share good practice.

Who leads the workshops, and how much time do we need?

A leader or colleague prepares with the guide and leads the group. The Manager Fundamentals product outlines list 30-minute workshops at Levels 1 and 2, 35-minute workshops at Level 3 and 40-minute workshops at Level 4. Allow preparation time and space to practise between sessions. Timings for the other Kick-Start topics are listed on its product page.

Can we use the materials with more than one group?

Yes. A one-time purchase gives your organisation permanent internal use, with no per-person fees or annual subscription. Run the workshops with different groups as you need. The licence is for the purchasing organisation and does not permit external resale or delivery.
